Sam Brizzolara is a fourth-year media communications student and creative problem solver. In his time at Indiana University Bloomington, Sam has honed his creative skills and discovered his own passions in writing, design, advertising, and photography. Sam has experience with project management, graphic design, sports photography, and news and creative copywriting.
Outside of the classroom, Sam has worked with TEDxIndianaUniversity, WFHB Bloomington Public Radio, the Indiana Hockey Radio Network, and as a freelance designer.
Sam designed and curated all promotional materials for TEDxIU’s upcoming “When A Tree Falls” virtual conference, which will occur in March 2021. Sam has worked with 7 fellow production team members as well as over 40 organization members to create accessible and design-savvy promotional materials for the conference, and couldn’t be more excited to showcase his work.
Sam has also been learning video editing and animation through an internship with WFHB Community Radio, Bloomington’s public radio station. There, he works with station journalists and editors to create daily news briefs for the Bloomington community.
Sam is interested in film photography, thrifting, vinyl hunting, skateboarding, and travel.
